This thermocouple is constructed using a Kapton/fibreglass junction insulation along with a fibreglass-insulated lead wire. The SA1XL can be used as a self-adhering thermocouple for temperatures up to 260°C or it can be cemented in place for use at temperatures up to 315°C.
