Thermal Imaging

Infrared thermography (IRT), thermal imaging, and thermal video are examples of infrared imaging science. Infrared radiation is emitted by all objects with a temperature above absolute zero. Therefore thermography allows you to see with or without visible illumination. The amount of radiation emitted by an object increases with temperature; therefore thermography detects variations in temperature. Applications for thermal imaging In industrial applications you can detect safety hazards or failures before they happen, see or detect gas leaks, detect and then identify CBRNE threats and, of course, see through smoke. See below for suppliers of this equipment.
