HOVMAND is an official campaign partner of EU OSHA

Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) remain the most widespread work-related health problem in Europe. In order to raise awareness of MSDs and their causes and to promote their prevention, the European Agency for Occupational Safety (EU-OSHA) has launched the campaign “Healthy Workplaces Lighten the Load”. The campaign runs from 2020 to 2022 and is supported by media and campaign partners in the EU – including the Danish company Hovmand.

Agitators, whether small or large, must be lifted, moved, carried and tipped out and cleaned at all times in commercial kitchens and bakeries. The robust stainless steel vessels are very heavy and handling them is very strenuous for the staff. The risk of injury when lifting and carrying vessels is particularly high. There is also a risk of spillage when carrying the vessel content – a loss for the business.

Hovmand’s special bowl transport carriages make handling these large mixing bowls a simple and safe operation. This thereby enables you to transport and lift bowls with one single device. Adjusted to the various volumes, we can provide you with special lifting equipment for picking up the vessel which, in some cases, also makes it possible to transfer them by means of electric tipping. All parts of our product series, which might into contact with foodstuff, are produced from stainless steel and are easy to clean.
