The Oxyboks® K 25 is specifically developed and designed for fields of application under difficult operating conditions (e.g. mining) and provides protection against suddenly occurring toxic gases and/or lack of oxygen.

Benefits

Ergonomic design

  • The Oxyboks K 25 is belt-mounted and extremely robust, sitting comfortably on the wearer‘s hip. When called upon in an emergency, the device is easily opened and donned and can be worn safely with additional forms of personal protective equipment, such as head protection. It allows maximum freedom of movement during usage, even when it is not possible to stand upright, such as when passing through narrow exits.

Operational readiness displayed by indicator

  • By means of the colouring of the service indicator, the user recognizes at a glance whether the device is readyto-use.

Easy and convenient to open and put on

  • The device can easily be opened, put on and positioned, as required. The devices are equipped with mouth piece and nose clip and provide 25 minutes operational period of use (with ventilation duration of 35 L/min; operational time is reduced or increased with lowered or heighted breathing).

Immediate oxygen supply

  • Due to the quick-start mechanism, oxygen is immediately supplied to the wearer.

Tested and approved

  • The Oxyboks is approved according to SABS 1737:2001.

Up to temperature class 2

  • The Oxyboks is applicable for use up to temperature class 2.

Training devices

  • Devices are available for training purposes in order to be perfectly prepared for cases of emergency.
