Supplied throughout Europe and the world, they are the result of a development programme that includes independent testing and certification. The collection includes Coated Fabrics and Laminated Fabrics.
Nylon and polyester base fabrics in various weights. The PU coated collection offers EN 343 3:3 conformance at a competitive price. Each fabric is fully independently tested and is stock backed in a large shade range of standard shades – including various EN 20471 High Visibility shades.
To meet the growing demand from our customers for greater multiple functionality, we offer the application of waterproof and breathable membranes to our existing FR treated fabrics. This process adds 30-40gsm to the total weight – and gives the final fabric EN 343 3:3 performance for waterproofness and breathability.
A typical example is Flamestat 290, which gives a mid-range weight fabric with conformance to many European Norms including EN 343 3:3 and EN 20471.
There are also 100% filament fibres that have been used successfully in waterproof garments and proven over many years. These include DENALI, a lightweight soft-handle high performance product – available in 2 Layer or 3 Layer form. Plus, ALASKA, a more rugged hard-wearing high performance product.
