The Inficon IRwin is a methane specific gas detector which can be used for a number of applications including natural gas network surveys, landfill surface emissions analysis and leak detection.
Highly sensitive, the Inficon IRwin has a measurement range of 1ppm to 100% CH4 and can also detect Carbon Dioxide, Ethane, Propane, Butane, Oxygen and Carbon Monoxide. The Inficon IRwin can also differentiate between marsh gases (methane) and natural gases (ethane), making it incredibly versatile and suitable for both landfill and pipeline applications.
Utilising patent pending infrared technology, the Inficon IRwin has very short reaction and recovery times. The accuracy of the unit prevents false leak alarms and ensures correct and fast leak evaluations.
Measurements are displayed live on the screen and you can also wirelessly transfer your inspection data for more detailed reporting. The instrument also benefits from GPS tracking, allowing you to easily pinpoint problem areas and revert back for further analysis.
Capable of running for up to 8 hours, the Inficon IRwin is suitable for harsh working environments and has zone zero ATEX certification and an IP54 rating.
