Our company was founded in 1968 by Peter Huber as one of the first master companies in the refrigeration engineering trade and has been family-owned ever since. In 2016, the legal form was changed to a stock corporation. At our headquarters in Offenburg, the Tango factory, we currently employ over 420 people. In addition, with international subsidiaries and sales partners, we offer a worldwide network for consulting, sales and service.

With numerous product innovations, we have driven technological development in the field of fluid temperature control. The introduction of Unistat temperature control systems in 1989 was a revolution in temperature control technology, and to this day Unistats set the tone when it comes to highly dynamic temperature control processes.

We are a leading supplier of high-precision temperature control solutions for research and industry. Worldwide, our products ensure precise temperature control in laboratories, pilot plants and production processes. Our product range offers innovative solutions for almost all tasks in the field of liquid temperature control from -125 to +425 °C. One focus of our product portfolio is the dynamic temperature control systems of the Unistat series. In addition, we develop and produce circulators as well as classic heating and cooling thermostats. For numerous applications in the automotive, chemical, pharmaceutical, aerospace, semiconductor and biotechnology industries, we supply customized special equipment, which is realized in close cooperation with our customers.

Environmentally-friendly with natural refrigerants
Already in the early 1970s, company founder Peter Huber started researching and using natural refrigerants. In the following years, Propane and Propene have been used as a standard refrigerant in many units.

In practice, natural refrigerants have significant advantages over their synthetic derivatives, e.g. very good thermodynamic properties. Advantages include low pressure losses in pipelines and heat exchangers, low energy consumption during compression, lower amounts of refrigerant required and good material compatibility.

Many applications depend on a reliable source of cooling. Circulating chillers in the Unichiller range offer an ideal solution for environmentally friendly and economical cooling in laboratory and industry. There are over 50 air and water cooled models to choose from, with cooling powers from 0,3 to 50 kW. Efficient energy management in all Huber chillers ensures low operating costs and reduced usage of valuable fresh water. Huber circulating chillers are a resource saving solution with a quick return on investment.
