ALM® 700 is Lakeland’s Top of the Range aluminised heat protective suit for protection against radiant and other heat sources. To the outer layer of 545gsm Gentex “Dual Mirror”® aluminised fibre glass, the moisture barrier layer is added an inner layer of padded thermal protection. The result is high resistance again heat source – both against radiant heat from the outer reflective layer and other heat energy from the inner thermal barrier. The pure aluminium surface of the “Dual Mirror” outer layer reflects up to 95% of radiant heat energy, keeping the wearer protected from heat sources and allowing longer working periods.
