ATEX EXTENSION CABLES

ATEX Extension Cables allow a flexible way of lengthening the reach of the lamps within a potentially explosive atmosphere.

They can be used at the start of a chain of lamps allowing a transformer to reside in a safe area or in the middle of a chain of lamps allowing 2 or more work areas to be lit without the need for additional power supplies.

A full range of extension cables for use with 24, 110 and 230V units are available in lengths of between 15 and 50 meters. The maximum overall length of cable in a chain must be carefully considered to ensure the voltage does not drop below the minimum level.

ATEX CABLE REEL

The Wolf ATEX Cable Reel is CE marked to the 2014/34/EU ATEX equipment directive for safe use in Zone 1 (Cat 2) IIC, where a T6 temperature class permits.

Operating from 230V or 110V, the cable reel allows for a number of different lighting solutions to suit many scenarios. Using various configurations of the Wolf LinkEx™ LED Temporary Luminaire, Wolf LinkEx™ LED Floodlite and other cable powered products from the temporary lighting range, the cable reel enables a bespoke set up of task and ambient lighting.

The cable reel facilitates chains of lighting in different areas to be linked together and extended from one central point, allowing for a greater surface area to be illuminated quickly and easily. An added benefit of the cable reel is the ability to power ancillary equipment alongside lighting for maintenance type tasks offering a fully flexible solution.

Built to the same high standards as the Wolf Safety transformers, the cable reel is robust and compact ensuring that it can withstand the harshest of environments and is always ready for use.

ATEX SPLITTER BOX

The Wolf ATEX Splitter Box is compact, portable and CE marked to the ATEX Directive for safe use in Zones 1 and 2 potentially explosive gas and Zones 21 and 22 dust* atmospheres, making it ideal for power distribution within hazardous area confined spaces.

ATEX 250VA TRANSFORMER HIGH TEMP

The Wolf ATEX 250VA Transformer is CE marked to the ATEX directive and IECEx certified with a maximum output of 250VA in an ambient temperature of up to +55°C and is group II, category 2 equipment for use in Zones 1 & 2 potentially explosive gases, vapours and mists, where temperature class T4 is permitted, and Zones 21 & 22 potentially explosive dusts where a maximum surface temperature of 130°C is permitted.

ATEX 400VA TRANSFORMER

The Wolf ATEX transformers are CE marked to the ATEX directive for safe use in Zones 1 potentially explosive gas and 21 dust atmospheres, where the T class and ambient temperatures permit. Wolf transformers are both ATEX and IECEx certified.
