Aquasonde

The new Aquasonde range builds on the success of the Aquaprobes by adding internal memory and internal power, allowing for a more discreet deployment. All of the Aquasonde’s feature the same included parameters and all allow you to add in more sensors where required. The Aquasonde-7000 also includes a self cleaning system meaning it can be deployed for longer periods.

Standard parameters on all Aquasonde’s

  • Optical DO
  • Specific EC
  • Absolute EC
  • pH
  • ORP
  • TDS
  • Resistivity
  • Salinity
  • SSG
  • Temperature
  • Depth*

*Depth measurements available when using a vented cable.

AP-7000

The AP-7000 Aquaprobe is designed for long term deployment utilising a central cleaning system to keep the fitted sensors clean reducing the effects of bio-fouling common in extended deployments. The probe comes with all of our standard parameters including optical dissolved oxygen, it also features 6 user configurable auxiliary sockets allowing you to add multiple specialist sensors to the probe. The AP-7000 is capable of measuring up to 17 individual parameters at once.

  • Absolute EC
  • pH
  • ORP
  • Depth
  • TDS
  • Resistivity
  • Salinity
  • SSG
  • Temperature

The AP-7000 features 6 Auxiliary sockets to allow you to add further sensors to the probe. The sockets are completely unrestricted so you can fit the probe with any combination of our ion selective or optical sensors.

The AP-7000 can be used with a variety of cable lengths via the AquaConn Connectors. Cables available in 3, 10, 20 and 30m lengths as standard.

AP-5000

The AP-5000 is the larger of our advanced portable multiparameter water monitoring probes. It comes with a range of standard sensors included, and much like its smaller counterpart it offers more customisation options that allow you to add extra sensors to the probe. All of our probes are constructed from tough marine grade aluminium that has been hard anodised, making it suitable for use in both fresh and salt waters.

  • Temperature
  • Depth

The AP-5000 features 4 Auxiliary sockets to allow you to add further sensors to the probe. Unlike the AP-2000, these auxiliary ports are unrestricted. This means that each port can take either an Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) or an optical sensor. This makes the number of potential sensor combinations vast.

The probe can be used with a variety of cable lengths via the AquaConn Connectors. Cables available in 3, 10, 20 and 30m lengths as standard.

AP-2000

The AP-2000 is the smaller of our advanced portable multiparameter water monitoring probes. It comes with a range of standard sensors included, it also offers some customisation options that allow you to add even more sensors to the probe. All of our probes are constructed from tough marine grade aluminium that has been hard anodised, making it suitable for use in both fresh and salt waters.

  • Optical DO
  • Specific EC
  • Absolute EC
  • pH
  • ORP
  • TDS
  • Resistivity
  • Salinity
  • SSG
  • Temperature

The AP-2000 features 2 Auxiliary sockets to allow you to add further sensors to the probe.

The probe can be used with a variety of cable lengths via the AquaConn Connectors. Cables available in 3, 10, 20 and 30m lengths as standard.

Customisation Options

There are 3 simple choices to make to customise the probe.

The probe comes with 1 Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) socket and 1 optical electrode socket, plus an option to add a depth sensor!

Probes are supplied with blanking plugs in the ISE and optical electrode ports as standard. Simply unscrew these to add your extra electrodes.

Your Options:

    • Do you want to measure Depth?
    • Which of the 5 ISE sensors do you require
    • Which of the 8 optical sensors do you require

If you have any questions regarding these options please Contact Us with your query or visit our Package Selector Package .

AP-700 & AP-800

The AP-700 and AP-800 packages represent the essentials in basic water quality monitoring. Offered as  complete packages you are provided with everything you need to get testing water. Packages include an Aquaprobe, a GPS Aquameter, a 3 meter cable, accessories and some RapidCal calibration solution all housed in a neat carry case for easy storage and transport.

What comes with each Aquaprobe?

The following recorded parameters come as standard on the AP-700

  • Dissolved Oxygen
  • Specific EC
  • Absolute EC
  • pH
  • ORP
  • TDS
  • Resistivity
  • Salinity
  • SSG
  • Temperature

The following recorded parameters come as standard on the AP-800

  • Dissolved Oxygen
  • Turbidity
  • Specific EC
  • Absolute EC
  • pH
  • ORP
  • TDS
  • Resistivity
  • Salinity
  • SSG
  • Temperature

The AP-700 offers “the big 4” commonly known as pH, EC, dissolved oxygen and temperature whilst the AP-800 offers more with the addition of our compact sapphire lensed, nephelometric turbidity sensor built in.

AquaPlus Optical DO

The AquaPlus probe is a combined optical dissolved oxygen, electrical conductivity and temperature sensor. Thanks to the built in conductivity sensor, the AquaPlus is able to calculate and automatically compensate DO readings for changes in water salinity. It’s compact, robust and highly accurate.

The luminescence based method for measuring dissolved oxygen has the following advantages:

  • Very low maintenance
  • No electrolyte to replace
  • No flow of water is required to achieve a steady reading
  • Holds calibration longer

The AquaPlus probe is available as a complete package including the probe with built in 3m cable and our GPS DO Meter, all packed in a hard carry case with foam cut-outs to keep your equipment safe.

AP-Lite

Sometimes multiparameter monitoring is not required, this is where the AP-LITE comes in. This pocket sized Aquaprobe is designed to measure a single parameter, it consists of a small body with an optical electrode socket.

The AP-LITE Socket

This socket can house any of our 8 optical electrodes, which simply screw in and out.
Giving you a dedicated Turbidity sensor one day, and a standalone chlorophyll sensor the next!

Optical electrode options:

  • Turbidity
  • Chlorophyll a
  • Blue Green Algae (fresh or salt water options available)
  • Rhodamine
  • Fluoresceine
  • CDOM/FDOM
  • Refined Oil
