Fiber Optic Thermometer

The FOB100 Series comprises high-accuracy, multipurpose fiber optic thermometers with 1, 2, or 4 channels. They use an original algorithm to analyze incoming signals, measuring the temperature on each channel. The standard analog output is 0 to 10 V; 4 to 20 mA is optional. Sensors are sold separately in various cable lengths, are interchangeable, and do not require calibration.

With the optional FOB100-SOFT software for Windows (see “Accessories”), the user can download data to a PC via the RS232 communications port on the front panel. Software features include min/max alarm; full data logging functions; and bar-graph, trend-line, or statistics display.

The FOB100’s rugged enclosure and immunity to EMI/RFI interference make it ideal for demanding industrial and laboratory applications.

Portable Dew Point Monitor

This portable dew point hygrometer integrates the accuracy and reliability of the OMEGA® chilled mirror with the battery life and ruggedness required for field use. The RHB-1500-C portable chilledmirror hygrometer has all the standard features, such as drift-free NIST-traceable accuracy, low maintenance, high durability, and ease of use—in a system that is ideally suited for the demands of field use. Whether you use the RHB-1500-C as a field transfer standard or to spot-check your process air dryness or dew point, you’ll find this system provides trouble-free operation.

The RHB-1500-C is a self-contained system. Not only is no field assembly required, but also there’s no need to carry around a myriad of individual components such as control boxes, sensors, cables, pumps, and power cords. Simply attach the sample line, adjust the flow (with the integral flowmeter), and turn on the power. Within minutes you’ll be collecting field dew point data with the same chilled-mirror accuracy of a lab-standard hygrometer. And with a nominal battery life of 12 hours, the RHB-1500-C lets you collect for the entire shift or spot-check your processes for several days.

8-Channel Benchtop Digital Thermometer Data Logger

The DP9800 Series thermometer can be used in conjunction with a PC to provide accurate, versatile 8 channel thermocouple and Pt100 RTD temperature measurements, scanning and logging of measured values. It can also be used as a “stand alone” indicator/ logger and incorporates a digital backlit LCD display of measured temperature.

The built-in self-calibration facility for the DP9800-TC thermocouple model is a rapid and convenient method for on-site calibration and does not require any additional equipment other than a special, external link. Self-calibration of Pt100 ranges is equally simple and uses plug-in precision resistors. The DP9800 is designed to provide exceptional stability with high measurement resolution and represents an ideal crossover between plant practicality and laboratory performance at a very competitive price. The PC software supplied with the instrument allows control, measure and calibration functions.

Low Cost Digital Thermocouple Thermometers – Single or Dual Input

The HH11B and HH12B handheld thermometers feature Type K thermocouple inputs and are available in either single or dual input models. The HH11B is a single-input model that has auto range resolution of 0.1 or 1°. The HH12B is a dual-input meter that allows the user to display T1, T2, or øT (T1 – T2) readings with 0.1 or 1° resolution. Both models are °C/°F switchable and feature front-panel offset adjustment and maximum reading/display hold functions. Capable of measuring temperatures from -200 to 1372°C (-328 to 1999°F), these low-cost meters accept any Type K thermocouple with a mini plug.

Errors contributed by a particular thermocouple can be practically eliminated, over a limited range, by using the recessed offset adjustment on the face of the meter and an accurate temperature standard. An LED warning light indicates when an open thermocouple input situation exists.
