TROXSP5-ADH-STER

Oxygen sensor spots allow oxygen measurements in closed sample containers with contactless read-out through a transparent window (glass, acryl glass) with special adapters and optical fibers for all types of fiber-optic meters from PyroScience. This enables incubations in closed systems, preventing potential contamination and simplifying oxygen monitoring without sampling, also in combination with pH and temperature sensor spots.

Self-adhesive technology. The spots are equipped with a self-adhesive glue on the backside of the spot for easy integration into transparent plastic or glass containers. This eliminates the use of glue, potential contamination of the spot and long waiting times between mounting and measurements. For information on adhesive properties, please refer to the technical note in the download tab. For measurement conditions where detachment of the spot can occur, it is advised to use the standard spots with SPGLUE.

Sterile sensor. This sensor was sterilized using 25kGy beta-radiation and is delivered in a sterile packaging.

  • Self-adhesive sensor spots (8 pcs.) 5mm in diameter
  • Sterilized using 25kGy beta-irradiation
  • For high precision measurements close to 0% O2
  • No oxygen consumption
  • Works in gas (%O2) and in liquids (DO)

FireSting-Pro

  • Compact fiber-optic multi-analyte meter
  • 1, 2, or 4 ports for optical oxygen, pH, or temperature sensors
  • Each optical port freely configurable
  • Broad portfolio of optical sensor heads
  • 1 temperature channel (Pt100)
  • Integrated pressure and humidity sensors
  • High-precision temperature and pressure compensation
  • Versatile logging software

The new compact FireSting pro is an unprecedented one-device solution for multiple analytes and sensor heads. It is a PC-controlled (USB) fiber-optic multi-analyte meter available with 1, 2 or 4 optical ports, which can be combined with the complete sensor portfolio for optical O2, pH, and temperature sensors from PyroScience. Each optical port is freely configurable for several analytes and sensor types. These range from microsensors (50 µm tip) to robust probes (3 mm tip), and include diverse smart contactless sensor solutions (for measurements in closed systems/respirometry, microfluidics and complex geometries), as well as sensors for different ranges (full and trace range O2, pH ranges). A precision Pt100 temperature sensor can be connected to the temperature port, allowing automatic zero noise and zero latency temperature compensation of the optical sensor measurements in samples with varying temperatures, even during high speed measurements. The new FireSting pro features improved ambient light suppression for applications at in situ light conditions, as well as smart measurement modes for prolonged sensor lifetime. Several FireSting pro devices can be simply operated with a single PC in a single Pyro Workbench window, offering scalable fiber-optic multi-parameter sensor systems with e.g. 8, 16, 32, or 64 channels. It has never been easier to measure important parameters in a single sample at high precision with maximum flexibility concerning analyte, sensor format, measuring mode, and application range.

Flow-Through Cells with Optical Oxygen and Temperature Sensor

The new optical temperature sensors from PyroScience are based on an innovative technology utilizing temperature-sensing properties of luminescent indicators. The combined flow-through cells have an integrated optical temperature and oxygen sensor for contactless measurements in gaseous or liquid samples flowing through the cell. The cell is equipped with Luer-lock connectors on both tubing ends. The included set of Luer-lock adapters allows direct connection of tubings with ca. 3-4 mm inner diameter. Importantly, the combined contactless temperature and oxygen sensors are fully compatible with the FireStingO2 meter from PyroScience, to which the flow through cell can be connected with two optical fibers (see accessories below). The optical temperature sensor in the combined flow-through cells can be used for true temperature compensation of the integrated oxygen sensor for high precision measurements.
  • Flow-through cells with integrated contactless optical oxygen and temperature sensor
  • Luer-lock with tubing adapters
  • Measures simultaneous temperature and oxygen in gas or aqueous liquids
  • For True Temperature Compensation of integrated Oxygen Sensor
