Anchors are the link between the safety system and the structure or the terrain. To complement the standard anchor gear, Petzl offers a lifeline device specific to horizontal progression and a complete set of accessories.

GRILLON lifeline

Temporary horizontal lifeline

GRILLON allows a horizontal lifeline to be installed quickly when there is a large work surface to cover. The integrated self-locking device allows easy adjustment of length, depending on the distance between two anchor points. It is available in four lengths to adapt to any situation.

Description

  • Easy to use:
    – allows a horizontal lifeline to be installed quickly when there is a large work surface
    – fine adjustment system allows easy adjustment of length and tension between two anchor points (1)
  • Sewn terminations on both ends with plastic sheath to keep the connector in position and protect the rope from abrasion
  • Available in four lengths: 5, 10, 15 and 20 cm
  • Replacement ropes available

    (1) Tie a mule knot behind the GRILLON to lock the anchor.

GRILLON anchor

Quick adjustment anchor

The adjustable GRILLON anchor can be used to quickly set a fixed anchor point. The length of rope required to set it is easily adjusted with the integrated self-locking device. The removable protective sheath allows smoother rope glide while protecting the rope from abrasive surfaces. It is available in four lengths.

Description

  • Easy to use:
    – allows quick setting of an adjustable anchor that is longer than two meters
    – fine adjustment system allows easy adjustment of length and tension at the anchor point (1)
  • Sewn terminations on both ends with plastic sheath to keep the connector in position and protect the rope from abrasion
  • Removable protective sheath protects the rope from abrasive surfaces and allows smooth rope glide
  • Available in four lengths: 2, 3, 4 and 5 m. Rope length is immediately identified by a color-coded label at the connector end.

TREESBEE SCREWLINK

False crotch for tree care, designed for ropes with sewn terminations

The TREESBEE SCREWLINK anchor strap is used to improve rope glide at the anchor while protecting the tree from abrasion. It is designed for ropes with sewn terminations (the link opens to let the sewn termination through).

  • Protects the tree and improves rope glide at the anchor 
  • Can be retrieved from the ground 
  • Wide webbing limits twisting 
  • Triple thickness of termination on large ring side makes the webbing more rigid during retrieval 
  • Terminations easy to identify with color coding

The TREESBEE anchor strap is used to improve rope glide at the anchor while protecting the tree from abrasion. It is designed for ropes with spliced terminations (the splice goes through the small ring).
