KeeGuard® Topfix provides a simple solution when collective protection is the preferred safety option for metal profile and standing seam roofs up to 45 degree pitch.
The specially designed powder coated base plate, which incorporates multiple fixing centres, allows installation to a wide range of popular roofs. Being an ‘off the shelf’ product, specification is simpler and it also removes the need to fabricate a different solution for each site, minimising site visits and down time.
Base plates for standing seam roofs are fixed using non-penetrative 2-part clamps and metal profile roofs are fixed with minimal penetrations using rivets and butyl sealing strip to maintain the roof’s integrity.
Being part of the KeeGuard® range KeeGuard® Topfix allows for fast installation using preassembled uprights and open cup fittings and easily accommodates ridges, valleys, corners, changes in level and self closing gates etc. using standard Kee Klamp® fittings.
The standard upright base fitting allows for 0-11 degree vertical adjustment and four fixing holes in the base plate allow it to be used in the most beneficial plane to suit the roof profile.
Available in both galvanised steel and aluminium finish.
Complies with the test requirements of BS EN 14122 part 3 and BS EN 13374 Class A, bay sizes for galvanised EN 14122 are 2.5m (1.75m end bays).

The economical answer for quick, modular and free standing interior and exterior demarcation.
Simple Modular Design
When a quick demarcation is needed, the KEE MARK system is the perfect solution. Kee Safety’s high visibility, maintenance free demarcation system is ideal for providing demarcation around plant, equipment and fragile materials or as an economical solution to guardrail, providing it is placed at least 2m from the roof edge.
The system is compact making it portable and easy to assemble. The unique post design with a heavy duty PVC base weighing 25kg prevents the system from falling during severe weather conditions. The KEE MARK demarcation system is further enhanced by a high visibility, two colour, polyurethane chain which links between the support posts.
- High visibility demarcation system
- Cost-effective
- Quick and easy to install
- Durable, maintenance free system
- Compact design provides ease of transportation and storage
Safe environment for all working on a roof
One of the HSE recommendations in reducing risk taken by people working on a roof is to select and use the right rooftop safety equipment. For contractors and engineers accessing flat roofs to carry out essential building, repair and maintenance work, safety guardrailing afforded by collective roof edge protection system can make a major contribution to minimising danger. The collective system that is selected must meet the highest safety standards. Our KeeGuard® rooftop guardrail system is fully tested and meets or exceeds current rooftop safety requirements. Not all free standing roof edge protection systems offer this level of security of rooftop areas.
KeeGuard® is a modular free standing rooftop guardrail system which does not penetrate the roof membrane. The system works on a proven counterweight system, recycled PVC weights provide high visibility, non-slip secure base that does not penetrate the roof membrane. Galvanised fittings and tube deliver collective protection which ensures a safe working environment for anyone working on a roof.
The KeeGuard® roof edge protection system offers maximum flexibility for most rooftop configurations, almost any flat roof up to 10 degrees can be accommodated. The system is available for different roof types, either for use where a restraining wall such as a parapet is in place or where the rooftop is completely open around the perimeter. The KeeGuard® rooftop guardrail system can be used for retrofitting to older buildings as well as for new constructions.
The KeeGuard® systems is also available in a lightweight aluminium version.
There is also available a newly launched KeeGuard® Foldshield folding version and a unique, fixed roof edge protection system named KeeGuard® Topfix especially designed for standing seam metal roofs.

- Multiple variations
- Conform to EN ISO 14122 pt3
- No threading, welding or riveting required.
Benefits
- Pre-assembled uprights for quicker installation
- No welding, no hot work permits required
- Can be adjusted on site to suit local conditions
- Fittings don’t damage any protective coatings applied to the tube
- Assured design loads
- Consistent appearance
- Easily installed by lower skilled and therefore less expensive labour.
Falls from height are a major cause of accidents and unfortunately falls through skylights happen so often. All building owners have a duty of care to ensure workers who need to access a roof are safe.
KEE COVER skylight cover has been specifically designed to provide an effective solution for covering unprotected roof lights without blocking out the light they are supposed to let into a building.
Design
KEE COVER provides protection against falls through fragile roof lights. Skylights are covered by a strong mesh panel mounted onto a metal frame. KEE COVER has been designed specifically for metal profile roofs where inline roof level skylights are common.
The mesh panel top sits onto a metal frame made from KEE KLAMP fittings and tube. The standard mesh panels are 2m long and 1m wide. For larger roof lights we offer extension panels, either 2m or 1m long x 1m wide.
The KEE COVER is designed to be assembled in-situ so is delivered in component form, thus making it easier to get up to roof level.
KEE COVER roof lights covers are available in two formats.
Standard Panels
Standard Panel fixes virtually flat to the roof surface.
Raised Panels
Raised Panel is raised above the skylight which is mounted on small legs to give a greater distance between the mesh panel and the roof light. In the event of a fall this would help ensure the roof light is not damaged when the KEE COVER absorbs the impact.
Testing
KEE COVER roof light covers have been tested to the Class B criteria and loadings required in the ACR Red Book Test for Non-Fragility of Roof Assemblies. An additional 1200 joule test has been carried out to BS EN 1873. KEE COVER meets both of these test criteria.
Features and Benefits
- Safety solution for covering roof lights on trapezoidal and standing seam roofs
- Tested in accordance with the ACR Red Book
- Easily assembled and fitted while on the roof
- All components and mesh panels are hot dip galvanised for enhanced durability
- Mesh panels do not block out light, keeping the building illuminated
- Extension panels allow for extended width and lengths be covered, ensuring the roof surface is safe
- Metal frame and panels will not go brittle thus delivering longevity for the installation
- Variable height facility allows for use over different shaped roof lights
- Tube can be colour coated if greater visibility is required
