MSA’s Latchways® Freestanding Constant Force post provides assured worker safety at height where there is an occasional or temporary requirement to access flat roofs or structures.
At the heart of the system is MSA’s unique Constant Force Technology. The Constant Force Post is contained within an anchor device consisting of a galvanized steel frame and galvanized steel weights bolted in a circular formation onto rubber coated base weights. In the event of a fall, the Constant Force post deploys to limit the load on the system while the weights simultaneously create a friction anchor between the unit and the roof surface.
- Applicable where there is an occasional safety at height requirement
- Suitable for flat roofs (maximum 5° pitch)

The V-Edge 1.8m personal fall limiter is a light weight option for leading edge applications.
Engineered for use in overhead and foot-level tie off points, and where leading edge hazards are a concern. The device has been successfully tested for horizontal use over a steel edge without burrs using the methods in VG11 CNB/P/11.060 (edge type A – 0.5 mm). The V-EDGE Mini PFL is also specifically tested and suitable for use on Mobile Elevating Working platforms (DIN 19427:2017-04, a peak force at the anchor point below 3kN).
