The garments are made from a rib knitted fabric consisting of 50 % wool and 50 % Lenzing FR® – a flame retardant fibre. Devold® Total is flame retardant and do not melt.

The underwear has a good fit and dries on your body. Devold® Total holds all certificates and approvals, and suits for fire brigades, electric power plants, offshore and industry. Balaclava model 817 is approved according to EN 13911. Devold® Total is Super Wash treated to reduce shrinkage, and is machine washable.

The garments have a smooth outer surface to give the best protection. Wool is voluminous and airy and has excellent insulation properties against coldness.

With Devold® Thermal, the wearer keeps warm even at rest, since wool can absorb significant amounts of moisture without feeling wet. Devold® Thermal is user-friendly with side panels, and thumb loops to maximize protection and isolation. Wool does not melt, and Devold® Thermal is Zirpro treated to give extra flame retardant properties. The garments are also ant shrink treated to give dimensional stability.

Good protection, excellent design and a lightweight fabric, makes this the most advanced flame retardant underwear at the market. Lenzing FR® ­reduces the risk of heat stress, and has very limited shrinkage caused by heat.

The knitting structure in combination with merino wool, results in garments that absorbs and transports moisture from your body to the outer layer where it evaporates. The inner layer of Lenzing FR® gives a feeling of silk to your skin, perfect for sensitivity to wool. The outer layer from 100 % fine, merino wool insulates against cold and keeps you warm even when it is wet. Balaclava model 817 is EN13911 approved.

Safe is knitted with Lenzing FR® and merino wool, with polyamide reinforcement. Safe is the lightest flame retardant underwear in the Devold® Protection collection.

Since it’s knitted in a rib structure, the underwear is very elastic and follows your body movement. Safe has a high percentage of merino wool, and therefore keeps your body dry and comfortable even during high activity.
