With Devold® Thermal, the wearer keeps warm even at rest, since wool can absorb significant amounts of moisture without feeling wet. Devold® Thermal is user-friendly with side panels, and thumb loops to maximize protection and isolation. Wool does not melt, and Devold® Thermal is Zirpro treated to give extra flame retardant properties. The garments are also ant shrink treated to give dimensional stability.

Shield is knitted of Lenzing FR® and merino wool, with reinforcements in polyamide. In addition, Nega-Stat® is implicated, which gives the garments optimal anti-static protection.

Shield also protects against arcing and electrical flashover. The garments are terry knitted and there is therefore a layer of air between the body and the garment that insulates against both cold and heat.

Devold® Molten is an interlock knitted garment from flame retardant, long-fibred cotton.

This results in a flexible quality garment. We have developed Devold® Molten for aluminium plants, and the fabric has a smooth surface to repel molten metal. The protective shirt does not melt and has no after-glow.

Due to high requirements on comfort and quality, we have developed this product in co-operation with Hydro Aluminium AS. Details with buttons and velcro are results of this co-operation, and Devold® Molten meets their requirements on quality, design and comfort.

The flame retardant properties of the garment do not dissapear throughout washing and last the garments lifetime.

Important details of the garment ensure protection of the skin from 2nd and 3rd degree burns. The neck fits tightly and protects up to the chin, with Velcro that is easy to open and a flap that protects the zipper. The cuffs are snug and prevent sparks and metal splash damage to your arms. All accessories such as zippers, seams and labels are of flame-retardant quality. Since Metal is tightly interlock knitted, the garment has a smooth surface where eg. metal splash will glance off. In addition to Lenzing FR®, Metal also holds the properties of wool, and keeps your skin dry, insulates against cold and heat, is lightweight and comfortable.
